Graham Enterprises: Using Technology to Improve Your Customer Experience
We're just going to come right out and admit something: We always have the latest geeky gadgets. From smart phones, to laptops, GPS, you name it. Call us geeks. Call us nerds. Call us what you will, but by all means, call us at (909) 824-1168 for appraisal orders in San Bernardino County! Why? We're glad you asked.
In recent years, appraisals have become more scrutinized than they ever have been before. Cutting corners on analysis isn't an option for an ethical appraiser. Therefore, we've simply optimized our routine processes to do more in less time. The appraisers that have continuously adapted to new technology have been the ones able to use their time more effectively and bring their customers more accurate reports, better customer service and faster turnaround times.

Way back when, a lot of our orders came in via fax and were confirmed with phone calls once we got back to the office. It might be hours before a client even knew if we could do the order. These days, when orders are entered on this website, we receive a text message on our phones. We can even log into this site from the field and send back an e-mail confirmation – including the time and date for the inspection if we've been able to talk to the occupant.
Take a look at how Graham Enterprises makes ordering easier
At Graham Enterprises we understand it's all about "cycle time". We use our resources to reduce waiting between communications since the speed at which we get things done directly effects your bottom-line. This website has proven to reduce cycle time for us and our clients by enhancing our communications.
Data Gathering Tools
One of the most time consuming parts of an appraisal is gathering the data. We spend quite a bit of time obtaining the facts on the subject property and the local market data and trends. Graham Enterprises takes advantage of technology to close the gap once again.
Instead of using paper forms and pencils and then re-keying all the information back at the office, don't be surprised to see us with a tablet PC or collecting data using an app developed for our phones that even lets us sketch a floorplan right on site. Rather than using that clumsy outdated tape measure, a larger percentage appraisers are adopting laser measuring devices that are quicker, more accurate, and can get into places that normal tape measures have always had problems with.
We combine all of these different technologies to ensure that your final report is comprehensive and conclusive. This works to both our advantages by necessitating less time for call-backs and revisions. A real money saver for busy appraisal clients.
Appraisal Report Delivery
At a very minimum, you can expect us to deliver your final report electronically as a PDF. Generally our clients are most comfortable with receiving PDFs attached to their e-mail. It's a lot better than the old days before e-mail. But, we've even been able to improve on e-mail with report delivery with this website.
Everyone knows how frustrating it is to lose a file. Or have you ever had problems sending or receiving an e-mail because of the file size? We have the technology to overcome those problems, too. Whenever we send an appraisal, the client is e-mailed a download link to retrieve the PDF. So, at that point, it doesn't matter if all the extra photos and maps in the report result in a large file that would normally be blocked by e-mail. And the download link is good for 90 days. So if you lose the file, you can log back in here and retrieve it again without even calling us or waiting for us to get to a computer so we can send it again.
Graham Enterprises simplifies things by using Digital Workfiles
It would be great if appraisers could never have to think about an assignment again after writing and giving it to the client. However, appraisals are used to document the condition of a property on the inspection date. Therefore, appraisers must keep their reports for 5 years in case any disputes or other matters arise regarding the property.
To sum it all up, Graham Enterprises leverages our embracing of technology to improve service. We store every part of the appraisal - notes, sketches, supporting documentation and calculations - along with the appraisal electronically, we skip the outdated file cabinets and only need our computer to recall exactly what that report was about.
These are just a few examples of how we use technology daily. Investing in the right tools, along with the appraisal know-how that you've grown to expect allows the appraiser to deliver reports quicker, more efficiently and with higher degrees of accuracy.
